System Upgrades

We're in the process of upgrading our master control system to change the way television works in North Reading. Soon you will notice changes to the way the town stations look and feel. This is one small perk to what we are doing.Once our system goes online we will be able to support a much broader range of new digital formats so more people can share content that they produce on their own. We are also working to build an information network in town that will give the viewers real-time data about what is happening in North Reading. This is only the start of what will be a big change for local access in this town. Here are a few pictures of our new system being assembled. Stay tuned for more information. To learn more or to find out how to get involved please contact us or view our membership page.

Battle of the Bands

On Saturday, March 1st, NORCAM partnered with North Reading Youth Services at their Battle of the Bands held at the Moose Lodge. Youth Group members attended a training session at NORCAM where they learned the basics of videography in order to help tape the event and conduct interviews with the judges and bands. The bands competing were: Summer Track, Free Riders, Slydell, The Nolfacat Dolls, and Bar Sinister, who won the event. Stay tuned. A DVD is being produced of the event that will air on NORCAM. Times and dates will be posted, shorly.
